Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Shoople when you use the Shoople app and website. By using Shoople you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Shoople.
- Keep your sign-in safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- Use your own identity. Don’t pretend to be another person or a shop you don’t run.
What you post
- You own your photos, videos and captions. By posting, you let Shoople show them in the app and on shared links to the audience you chose, and use the prices you share in anonymous community prices.
- Post honestly. Prices should be what you were really asked and really paid, and places should be where you really shopped.
- Don’t post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or misleading, other people’s private information, or content you don’t have the right to share. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
- You can report any post, shop, comment, person or chat, and block anyone, right in the app (the “⋯” menu). We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.
- Be fair to sellers: haggling posts are about the fair price you paid, not attacks on a trader.
Items you can’t post or recommend
Shoople is for everyday things people buy legally. Don’t post, recommend, ask about or offer:
- illegal drugs, or medicines that need a prescription;
- weapons, ammunition or explosives;
- fake, counterfeit or stolen goods;
- protected wildlife or bushmeat from protected animals;
- alcohol or tobacco aimed at anyone under 18;
- anything else that’s illegal in Ghana or where you are.
Use Report → “Illegal or dangerous item” in the app. We remove these posts and suspend accounts that post them.
Copyright
Only post photos, videos and words that are yours or that you have permission to share. If you think something on Shoople uses your work without permission, contact us (or email hello@shoople.site) with a link to it, what it copies, and how we can reach you. We’ll look at it quickly and remove it if it breaks these terms, and we suspend accounts that keep doing it.
Prices and shops
Prices on Shoople come from shoppers and can change, so they’re a guide, not a promise. Shoople is not a party to anything you buy from a shop or another person, and we aren’t responsible for the quality, safety or price of what you buy.
Things you must not do
- Spam, or fake likes, follows, visits or prices, or use bots or scripts.
- Try to get into other people’s accounts or data, or break or overload the service.
- Copy or resell Shoople’s content or price data in bulk.
Our part
We work hard to keep Shoople running and safe, but it’s provided “as is”. We may change or stop features. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms. Where the law allows, Shoople isn’t liable for indirect losses from using the app.
Ending
You can stop using Shoople and delete your account at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
